The Veronese cuisine is appreciated at an international level because of the variety of its dishes: gnocchi (potato dumplings) and pasta with beans are among the most famous Veronese specialities, together with specialities from nearby towns-such as the risottos from Isola, tortellini from Valeggio, asparagus from Rivoli. All these dishes can be accompanied by the famous wines of Valpolicella, Recioto, Soave, Bardolino, Custoza, enjoyed all over the world. Verona has always had a great tradition for good food.
